Delete your KinPaw account

You can delete your KinPaw account and the data attached to it at any time. There are two ways to do it — from inside the app, or by emailing us. You do not need an account to read this page. If you only want to remove part of your data and keep your account, see Delete only some of your data below.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app (immediate)

  1. Open KinPaw and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Tap Delete account at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Confirm when asked.

Your account and its records are erased from our database immediately. This is permanent — there is no recovery, no grace period, and no way for us to restore the data afterwards.

Option 2 — Ask us by email

Email support@thekinpaw.com from the address your account uses, with the subject "Delete my account". We verify that the request comes from the account holder and then delete the account. We complete these requests within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Delete only some of your data (and keep your account)

You do not have to close your account to remove something. Every record in KinPaw can be deleted on its own:

  1. Open KinPaw and sign in.
  2. Go to the record you want to remove — a journal entry, a meal, a medication, a vaccination, a weight entry, an appointment, and so on.
  3. Open it, choose Delete, and confirm.

The record is erased from our database immediately, and this cannot be undone. Deleting a pet profile removes that pet and every record filed under it, while your account and any other pets stay exactly as they are.

If you also want the stored copies of any photos or scans that were attached to be erased from our file storage, or you would rather we handled the request for you, email support@thekinpaw.com from the address your account uses and tell us what to remove. We verify that the request comes from the account holder and complete it within 30 days, usually much sooner. Your account stays open.

What is deleted

Deleting the account removes your account and every record attached to it:

  • Your account and sign-in details — email, password hash, and any Google or Apple sign-in link.
  • Every pet profile you created, and everything under it.
  • Food — diets, fresh-food and treat recipes, your recipe book and cooking log, treats given, supplements, and allergy records.
  • Journal — entries, tags, symptom and stool data, and monthly Paw Reports.
  • Medical — blood-work results, visits, invoices, vaccinations, medications, weight history, and medical history.
  • Care — appointments, routines, grooming cycles, reminders, notification preferences, and push-device registrations.
  • Uploaded files — the photos and scans attached to those records are erased from our storage too: pet photos, journal photos, medical report scans and recipe photos.
  • Feedback you sent us.

What is not deleted

  • Shared food catalog entries. If you added a food product that was accepted into the shared catalog other owners search, the product stays — but it is detached from you, so it is no longer linked to your account in any way.
  • Anonymized AI usage totals. We keep a running tally of AI processing cost for our own accounting. Your account identifier is stripped from those rows, leaving figures that cannot be traced back to you or your pets.
  • Records we must keep by law. Where a law requires us to retain something, we keep only that, and only for as long as required.
  • AI conversations are never on our servers to begin with — they are stored only on the device where you had them, and removing the app removes them.
Want a copy first? Deletion cannot be undone. Before you delete, you can export your pet's medical record as a PDF from the Medical tab — once the account is gone, we cannot produce it for you.

KinPaw 계정과 계정에 속한 데이터는 언제든지 삭제할 수 있습니다. 앱에서 직접 삭제하거나, 이메일로 요청하는 두 가지 방법이 있습니다. 이 페이지를 보는 데는 계정이 필요하지 않습니다. 계정은 유지하면서 일부 데이터만 지우고 싶다면 아래 “계정은 그대로 두고 일부 데이터만 삭제하기”를 참고하세요.

방법 1 — 앱에서 직접 삭제 (즉시)

  1. KinPaw를 열고 로그인합니다.
  2. 프로필 탭으로 이동합니다.
  3. 화면 아래쪽 계정 삭제를 누릅니다.
  4. 확인 창에서 확인을 누릅니다.

계정과 기록이 즉시 데이터베이스에서 삭제됩니다. 이 삭제는 영구적입니다 — 복구 기간이나 유예 기간이 없으며, 이후에는 저희도 데이터를 되살릴 수 없습니다.

방법 2 — 이메일로 요청

계정에 등록된 이메일 주소로 support@thekinpaw.com 에 제목 "계정 삭제 요청" 으로 보내주세요. 본인 확인 후 계정을 삭제해 드립니다. 요청은 30일 이내에 처리하며, 보통은 그보다 훨씬 빠릅니다.

계정은 그대로 두고 일부 데이터만 삭제하기

무언가를 지우려고 계정을 없앨 필요는 없습니다. KinPaw의 모든 기록은 하나씩 따로 삭제할 수 있습니다.

  1. KinPaw를 열고 로그인합니다.
  2. 지우려는 기록으로 이동합니다 — 일지, 식사, 약, 예방접종, 체중, 일정 등.
  3. 기록을 열고 삭제를 선택한 뒤 확인합니다.

기록은 즉시 데이터베이스에서 지워지며 되돌릴 수 없습니다. 반려동물 프로필을 삭제하면 그 아이와 그 아래의 모든 기록이 함께 지워지고, 계정과 다른 아이들은 그대로 남습니다.

기록에 첨부돼 있던 사진이나 스캔본까지 저장소에서 지우고 싶으시거나 저희가 대신 처리해 드리기를 원하시면, 계정에 등록된 주소에서 support@thekinpaw.com으로 무엇을 지울지 알려주세요. 계정 주인의 요청인지 확인한 뒤 30일 이내에, 대개는 훨씬 빠르게 처리해 드립니다. 계정은 그대로 유지됩니다.

삭제되는 정보

계정을 삭제하면 계정과 계정에 속한 모든 기록이 삭제됩니다.

  • 계정 및 로그인 정보 — 이메일, 비밀번호 해시, 구글·애플 로그인 연결.
  • 등록한 모든 반려동물 프로필과 그 아래의 모든 정보.
  • 식단 — 급여 중인 사료, 화식·간식 레시피, 내 레시피함과 만든 기록, 간식 급여 기록, 영양제, 알레르기 기록.
  • 일지 — 기록, 태그, 증상·배변 데이터, 먼슬리 Paw Report.
  • 의료 — 혈액검사 결과, 진료 기록, 영수증, 백신, 투약, 체중 이력, 병력.
  • 케어 — 예약, 루틴, 미용 주기, 알림, 알림 설정, 푸시 기기 등록 정보.
  • 업로드한 파일 — 기록에 첨부된 사진과 스캔 이미지도 저장소에서 함께 삭제됩니다. 반려동물 사진, 일지 사진, 검사지 스캔, 레시피 사진.
  • 보내주신 피드백.

삭제되지 않는 정보

  • 공용 사료 데이터베이스 항목. 다른 보호자들이 검색하는 공용 사료 목록에 등록된 제품을 추가하신 적이 있다면 그 제품 정보는 남습니다. 다만 제출자 정보가 분리되어, 회원님의 계정과는 어떤 방식으로도 연결되지 않습니다.
  • 익명화된 AI 사용량 집계. 저희 내부 비용 정산을 위해 AI 처리량 집계를 보관합니다. 해당 기록에서 계정 식별자는 제거되므로, 회원님이나 반려동물을 특정할 수 없는 수치만 남습니다.
  • 법령상 보관 의무가 있는 기록. 법에서 보관을 요구하는 경우 그 범위와 기간에 한해서만 보관합니다.
  • AI 대화는 애초에 서버에 저장되지 않습니다. 대화한 기기에만 저장되므로, 앱을 삭제하면 함께 사라집니다.
먼저 기록을 남겨두시겠어요? 삭제는 되돌릴 수 없습니다. 삭제 전에 의료 탭에서 우리 아이의 의료 기록을 PDF로 내보낼 수 있습니다 — 계정이 사라진 뒤에는 저희도 만들어 드릴 수 없습니다.

Eliminar tu cuenta de KinPaw

Puedes eliminar tu cuenta de KinPaw y los datos asociados en cualquier momento. Hay dos formas de hacerlo: desde la propia app o escribiéndonos por correo. No necesitas una cuenta para leer esta página. Si solo quieres borrar parte de tus datos y conservar la cuenta, consulta más abajo “Eliminar solo parte de tus datos”.

Opción 1 — Elimínala tú en la app (inmediato)

  1. Abre KinPaw e inicia sesión.
  2. Ve a la pestaña Perfil.
  3. Pulsa Eliminar cuenta al final de la pantalla.
  4. Confirma cuando se te pida.

Tu cuenta y sus registros se borran de nuestra base de datos de inmediato. Es permanente: no hay recuperación, ni periodo de gracia, ni forma de restaurar los datos después.

Opción 2 — Pídenoslo por correo

Escribe a support@thekinpaw.com desde la dirección de tu cuenta, con el asunto «Eliminar mi cuenta». Verificamos que la solicitud viene del titular y eliminamos la cuenta. Completamos estas solicitudes en un plazo de 30 días, normalmente mucho antes.

Eliminar solo parte de tus datos (y conservar tu cuenta)

No hace falta cerrar tu cuenta para borrar algo. Cada registro de KinPaw se puede eliminar por separado:

  1. Abre KinPaw e inicia sesión.
  2. Ve al registro que quieras borrar: una entrada del diario, una comida, un medicamento, una vacuna, un peso, una cita, etc.
  3. Ábrelo, elige Eliminar y confirma.

El registro se borra de nuestra base de datos de inmediato y no se puede recuperar. Al eliminar el perfil de una mascota se borran esa mascota y todos sus registros; tu cuenta y las demás mascotas siguen igual.

Si además quieres que borremos de nuestro almacenamiento las fotos o escaneos que estuvieran adjuntos, o prefieres que nos encarguemos nosotros, escríbenos a support@thekinpaw.com desde la dirección de tu cuenta e indícanos qué quieres eliminar. Comprobamos que la solicitud proviene del titular y la completamos en un plazo de 30 días, normalmente mucho antes. Tu cuenta permanece abierta.

Qué se elimina

Al eliminar la cuenta se borran tu cuenta y todos los registros asociados:

  • Tu cuenta y datos de acceso: correo, hash de la contraseña y el vínculo de inicio de sesión con Google o Apple.
  • Todos los perfiles de mascota que creaste y todo lo que contienen.
  • Comida: dietas, recetas caseras y de premios, tu recetario y registro de tandas, premios dados, suplementos y alergias.
  • Diario: entradas, etiquetas, datos de síntomas y deposiciones, y los Paw Report mensuales.
  • Salud: analíticas, visitas, facturas, vacunas, medicación, historial de peso e historial médico.
  • Cuidado: citas, rutinas, ciclos de aseo, recordatorios, preferencias de avisos y registros de dispositivos para push.
  • Archivos subidos: las fotos y los escaneos adjuntos a esos registros también se borran de nuestro almacenamiento: fotos de la mascota, fotos del diario, informes médicos escaneados y fotos de recetas.
  • Los comentarios que nos enviaste.

Qué no se elimina

  • Entradas del catálogo de alimentos compartido. Si añadiste un producto que se incorporó al catálogo que otros cuidadores consultan, el producto permanece, pero se desvincula de ti y deja de estar asociado a tu cuenta de ninguna forma.
  • Totales anonimizados de uso de la IA. Conservamos un recuento del coste de procesamiento de IA para nuestra propia contabilidad. El identificador de tu cuenta se elimina de esos registros, de modo que quedan cifras que no pueden rastrearse hasta ti ni tus mascotas.
  • Registros que la ley nos obliga a conservar. Cuando una ley exige conservar algo, guardamos solo eso y solo durante el tiempo exigido.
  • Las conversaciones con la IA nunca están en nuestros servidores: se guardan únicamente en el dispositivo donde ocurrieron, así que desaparecen al desinstalar la app.
¿Quieres una copia antes? La eliminación no se puede deshacer. Antes de borrar, puedes exportar el historial médico de tu mascota en PDF desde la pestaña Salud: una vez eliminada la cuenta, no podremos generarlo por ti.
